Always dress appropriately!

What do we mean by this??  Always dress respectfully.  If your travels take you through churches, temples, basilicas, etc then make sure you are dressed appropriately.  Most holy places require a woman's shoulders to be covered.  It is actually best for a woman to have not only her shoulders covered but also her legs to beneath her knees.  

NOTE:  One of my travel essentials is a scarf.  It can come in handy in this situation.

If you are a gambler many casino's in other countries have a dress code and men are not allowed to wear shorts. 

When traveling to other countries you are the outsider and you are their guest.  Be respectful and courteous to their culture and requests and they will welcome you with open arms.
