TRAVEL TIP OF THE DAY - DRESS FOR THE WEATHER - 3.15.2017 TRAVEL TIPS

Be in the know before you go!  Dress for the weather.

When you are not comfortable it will diminish your experience.  We have ran into this several times in the past.  We knew it is going to be cold but we really didn't want to lug our winter jackets halfway across the world.  Our thought was - we will buy something when we get there if needed.  Well that hasn't worked well for us.  Now we take what we need. 
Trust me - when you are freezing it WILL change your overall experience.  

The same goes for hot weather.  If it is going to be hot and humid make sure you have light clothing.  Don't lug around stuff you won't need.  If it might be warm with cool nights then bring a jacket so you can enjoy the evenings.  

When we go to Iceland in a few weeks we will be taking our down jackets.
