TRAVEL TIP OF THE DAY - BOOK DIRECT WHEN POSSIBLE - 3.22.2017 TRAVEL TIPS

You can still get great deals by booking hotels, cars, and flights directly with the company!

Whenever possible book directly with a company rather than using a travel website.  We will use the travel website to see the best deals and then go directly to the company website to compare.  Especially when booking airfare, if you book directly with the airline they are more apt to help you when something goes wrong.

If we find a great Hotel price we will go directly to the hotel website to see if the rates are the same.  If they aren't we will call the hotel and ask for the same price.  Many times they will honor the price you found elsewhere.  This way you can earn points with the hotel chain.  

When booking smaller places just because Booking.com or TripAdvisor is sold out doesn't mean there are no longer any rooms available.  Call the property that you are interested in and ask if they have any rooms available.  A lot of the smaller places will only book a few rooms with the budget site to get their name out there.

If you can't find a better deal then feel comfortable booking on a travel website.
