Are all travel bottles the same?  Is one better than another?

Those travel bottles at the dollar store may seem great,  especially for $1 right?  Think again, they might do the job but they won't do it nicely.  When we first started traveling we used these and we dealt with leaks and impossible access to the the last third of our shampoo and conditioner.  Ziploc bags contained the leak but we lost precious product.  

Choose a travel bottle that is flexible and leak proof.  We recommend silicone bottles.  They not only give you access to all of your product but they last longer too.  TSA allows a maximum of 3oz per container.  These are TSA approved.  You can buy them on amazon for around $10US dollars for four 3oz bottles.

They will give you peace of mind and keep your products contained.  You can also buy smaller bottles if you do not need to take a full 3oz.
