TRAVEL TIP OF THE DAY - USE THE METRO - 3.13.2017 TRAVEL TIPS

When possible take the metro.  It is very cost effective and a good way to get around a large city.

There are several reasons why we use the metro.  It is not only a cost effective way to access a large city but you can save money on accommodations by booking a little outside the city and taking the metro into the city.

Metro/Trains are also a great way to get from most airports to a city center.  When we flew into Shanghai we took the train/metro to our hotel (Pullman Shanghai Jing An).  In fact we normally book our accommodations so they are close to a metro stop.
